This Sunday

This Sunday is Father’s Day, we will be meeting for our family service at 10.30am at The Littlehampton Academy

The Chapel will be available for parents with babies and toddlers this week.

As it is Father’s Day a free copy of Sorted magazine will be available for any chaps after the meeting.

Please be aware that each Sunday, as we meet in a public building, Arun Community Church cannot accept responsibility for your children’s safety during, before or after the meeting apart from during supervised activities. Pack down can also be particularly hazardous with the removal of heavy equipment. Please do not allow your children up onto the balcony level in the Atrium as this is out of bounds. Thank you.

Grenfell Tower Support

Admin —  June 16, 2017

Like you, we have been deeply shocked by the tragedy at Glenfell Tower, London and our prayers are with everyone involved. There has been a huge amount of donations to the victims and families from across the UK, but there is still a chance to contribute.

Arun Church do not have specific links in the Kensington community, so would ask anyone who wants to make a donation to do so via the Kensington Aldridge Academy Just Giving page. There are many fundraising efforts online, but this is by a local school and has raised the most – £650,000 so far! Just Giving say they will be holding funds to ensure that all money makes it to those in need.…/familiesofgrenfelltower

Arun Ladies Breakfast

Admin —  June 16, 2017

The next Ladies Breakfast is on Saturday 15th July, 8.45 – 11am.

This will be a time for the ladies of the church to be together, grow in faith and make friendships across the generations. This is also open to your friends and family who may not be Christians, as this will be a welcoming environment and opportunity to learn more about God, church and hear personal testimonies of faith.

A continental breakfast will be served, with tea & coffee available. The cost is £4, payable on the morning. But please click here to book your place for catering purposes, or book a place at Info Point on Sunday morning. Please be aware spaces are limited!

For more info see Maryann Gillett, Margaret Lear, Margaret Beech or Anna Neal.

Volunteers needed! Summer is fast approaching and plans are already unfolding for this year’s play scheme ‘Kickstart The Event’. The dates for your diary are 7th – 11th August. As the event grows year on year, reaching more children and families, we really need more volunteers over the age of 18 to help out during the week. As you look ahead into your year, could you consider booking this week (or just the mornings) off and joining the team for an incredible week of fun, relationship building and community outreach?

If you could help out in any way during this week, please speak to Bex Groves or Andy Gill.
