Welcome to Martin Seymour the new Reverend at Littlehampton Baptist Church. Here is a little from Martin, “I want to be a part of LBC’s passion to know, live out and share, in the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s message that Jesus is Lord is an exciting prospect that we can all do as Philippians 4:13 declares.” To find out more you can read Martin’s full letter to the local churches.
Stop the Traffik is an organisation dedicated to helping communities that are vulnerable to modern slavery become resilient. STT operates globally but its model is built on community activism – understanding how slavery presents itself locally, helping people to see and working with all sectors, shining a bright light on this scourge in a way that unsettles traffickers.
Neil Giles of STT writes, “Our community here on the south coast is vulnerable. We are forming a local STT Community Group to cover Worthing to Littlehampton and need some key people, well motivated and energetic to guide its beginning. We have support in Worthing and myself from Angmering and need Littlehampton representation. Our inaugural planning meeting is Thursday 9th March at 7pm (venue TBC).”
