Men of Arun is the title under which several activities are organised for men at Arun Community Church (and any other chaps who would like to come along!). This comprises social events and more spiritually focused activities. There is a definite intention for our times to be an encouragement for men to engage with God and all he intends them to be; to be active and present in their various fields of influence, whether that’s church, family or work.
The Men of Arun Breakfast is run with this intent and is great time to join with other ACC chaps for a bacon butty, but above all as an opportunity to connect with God. The next breakfast is Saturday 11th February, 8.45 – 11.15am at the Wickbourne Centre. During the morning we’ll be interviewing Stew Smith. Cost is £4, payable on the morning, but please book your place here for catering purposes. For more info see Austin Wade, Gareth Nunes, Martin Watson, Phil Atherton, Flix Gillett, Steve Case or Cookie Knowles.
There is also the monthly Men of Arun Social on Thursday 2nd February. If you’re new to the church or you’ve been coming for years, you’re very welcome to join other chaps at the Lamb pub in Rustington (the choice of location is currently being reviewed) from 8pm.
