This Sunday is Christmas Day so we will be meeting at The Littlehampton Academy, 10.30 – 11.30am to celebrate the birth of Jesus! All of the children are invited to bring a present that they can show to the church.

We will be taking a special offering for the following causes:

The Wayuu Community in Northern Colombia: The Wayuu tribe are terribly exploited and generally live without easy access to water. In October Joe & Carolina Gisbey took a team from ACC to visit educational projects with which we are partnering to set up a micro enterprise initiative and income generating projects. We will be aiming to raise £2500 to build a well that will provide clean water to over 80 families and also build pit latrines to improve the health and well-being of the school and community.

Syrian Refugee Crisis: The civil war in Syria continues resulting in many people fleeing persecution and violence. In recent years we’ve sent financial support through Tearfund, who have been working in many of the refugees’ home countries, and also with churches and organisations in Europe, enabling them to offer care and aid to those who have already fled and are in huge need. Earlier this year Nuna Matar visited us and through Children on the Edge we were able to provide funds for her work with Syrian refugees in Lebanon. We believe it would be good to give again towards this situation as part of our Christmas Day offering.

Thank you so much for your generosity, together we can see communities and lives transformed!
