25th – 29th April: The Littlehampton Academy Prayer Week. Paul Sanderson (TLA Chaplain) writes: This is our 6th year of giving prayer a high profile at the school, with the chapel converted into an interactive and engaging space for students and staff get a taste of prayer. We require volunteers to explain a prayer zone to groups of students and encourage them to get involved. Sessions run for 1 hour, and volunteers need to arrive 15 mins beforehand to have a full briefing. Times slots are 9.00am, 10.05am, 11.25am, 12.30pm, and 2pm every day. We also need volunteers to help set up on Sunday 24th April after church from around 1 – 4pm, as well as some help required packing down on the Friday from 3pm. If you are able to help, please e-mail me with your availability at psanderson@tla.woodard.co.uk. Volunteers will need to bring in Photo ID (passport/drivers license etc) the first time they come in.
