Our condolences to Al & Jan Evans, on the passing of Jan’s Dad last week. We pray for them especially at this time.

Joe Gisbey and John Yates are in the Delhi region of India from 3rd – 7th December, working with partners planting churches throughout the nation. Please pray for them as they teach in the Bible school and have the privilege of sending out recently trained church planters.
Kathy Watson will be selling her books ‘The Little House in Heaven’ and ‘Treasure in the Alcove’ in the Atrium after the service this Sunday. They are Christian allegorical stories for girls aged 8-12.

This week we welcome Dan & Sian West into membership of the church.20151129_153025

Dan: Some of you might already know me as I originally attended ACC from 1998, when I became a Christian, until 2008 when I married Sian. I was born in Chichester and grew up in Littlehampton. My parents split up when I was 13, I became a Christian at 16 and started going to Arun. I was baptised in 1999. When I was 17 I moved to Lancing to live with my dad, but I was still involved with lots of stuff with ACC, such as the cricket team and the set down team. In 2006, I was set up on a blind date with Sian, nearly two years later we got married at Littlehampton Baptist Church, where we both attended until 2015. Whilst at LBC, I played bass in the band and sometimes helped Sian with the youth work. During this time, our sons were born; Matthew in 2010 and Sam in 2013.

Sian: I was born and raised in South Wales where I lived with my parents, sister and brother. When I was 26, I decided to follow my sister and moved down south. I became a Christian in 2004 and got baptised later that year. I started attending LBC, where I was a youth leader for 11 years. I met Dan on a blind date in 2006 and things progressed quickly; we got married in 2008 and had our two gorgeous boys. After lots of prayer at the end of 2014/start of 2015, we decided to leave LBC to search for a more suitable place for our family and decided that ACC was a natural choice for us. We’ve felt very welcome since we’ve been here, and want to continue our journey at ACC.
