St Bridget’s Care Home is looking for a volunteer ‘buddy’ to come alongside one of their residents at our Sunday services. St Bridget’s will provide his transport to and from church as he needs an adapted vehicle. The gentleman is aged around 35, and uses a wheelchair because he has MS. A male buddy would be ideal, to meet him at church and accompany him during the services. A couple of meet-ups will be arranged to establish a friendship and some training. If you feel that you could help in this way please contact the church office.

Attention men! The 4th Musketeer are running their eXtreme Character Challenge this October (8th – 11th) and you are invited! The XCC is a chance to get away, no phones, no hot showers or hotels, just you with a bunch of other guys and a chance to connect to your Maker. It’s tiring, it’s physically and spiritually challenging and not for the faint of heart. It will be an experience that will affect you deeply for the rest of your life. We’re looking to take 30 men from Arun, so if you’re interested or would like more information, speak to Stew Smith or Rich Lush. Watch the video or visit the website to find out more.
