Sue Moss writes:

Dear friends at ACC, This last year has been, as many of you know, a difficult and often painful time for our family, with serious illnesses and changes in our circumstances which I could never have anticipated. Though as well as being a time of great pain and anxiety, it’s also been a time of feeling God’s loving presence and hearing His voice.

I’ve been amazed at the way He’s spoken to me and strengthened me just as I needed it, and I’ve also seen amazing answers to prayer – impossible seeming situations made possible, giving me great hope that we will come through our present difficulties and look back in amazement at everything God has done for us.

Sadly, I also know that, having spent time earnestly seeking God’s direction, it’s time for me to move on from ACC and that He has other plans for me. Although I’m resigning my membership I hope I’m not resigning my relationship with the many lovely friends here at ACC who have prayed for us and supported us in so many generous, practical and thoughtful ways. Your kindness has moved and humbled me over these past months. I know that it’s the power of your prayers that have resulted in the seeming impossible being made possible.

I’ve never wanted to be anywhere except where God wants me, and I never want to be afraid of change and I move on with the firm belief that: ‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven’.

We pray every blessing for Sue, Chris and family, and thank her for all she has given.

Hi everyone, we are Nick & Karen Sellors and we have lived in Findon Village for the last 23 years. Karen works with people living with dementia in Worthing and I (Nick) work for myself in various businesses.

I was invited to ACC by Helen & Mark Johnson (thank you guys!) around two years ago and really experienced God was in the House that Sunday whilst worshipping. Karen at this time was attending Findon church, and on my return I talked to her about the experience I had at ACC. About a month later, Karen came along with me and it didn’t take long to know that this felt like where we were meant to be. We have both felt the love of God and the community at ACC. We are delighted that our son Curtis has recently decided to come along to ACC too.

We both feel very blessed by becoming members and are looking forward to where God will lead us.

An update from Macaulay Larbey writing from Mariager Højskole Bible School in Denmark:

Hi church, I hope all is well, missing our fellowship this week. I have been ill with an infection but have visited the hospital, and i’m getting there, so that’s great.
We begin recording our worship songs this week, sooo exciting! I ask for prayer for health, motivation, stress levels and God to work with the songs. I also ask for you to pray for Romania and the amazing people there, for blessings and for the finance for me to head back in July with Paul Sanderson (TLA Chaplain) and another team. I’m so thankful for the backing you continue to give me and I just hope you see that your time and money isn’t being wasted. Love you all. Peace out!
