We welcome the following people into membership this week:

“Hi everyone! I’m Reuben Harsant, I’m 24 years old and the eldest son of Andy and Pippa. I play drums regularly on a Sunday and also play music for a living. Music has always been my passion and I’m so grateful to God for our church and the freedom we have in worship.

I became a Christian when I was 8 years old at a gig in Wolverhampton and later got baptised at Arun in 2009. It’s been the most incredible journey and now as I look forward to getting married to Claire (Frean) in May, and setting up camp in Littlehampton, I’m excited to become a member at Arun Community Church!”

Jamie was a member of Arun Community Church growing up, before meeting Bryony, marrying and moving to Brighton together. They have recently made their home in Worthing and felt it right to “come home” to Arun, and so applied to become members recently.

Bryony originally comes from a small town called Arnold in Nottingham and moved down in 2007 to attend the University of Brighton, studying Fashion & Business. Jamie has worked at Furious Records amongst other employment and focused largely on music before starting work in his family’s business. They originally met via a chance encounter around 10 years ago between Bryony and two of Jamie’s childhood friends at the Christian festival Grapevine, in Lincoln.

Jamie works as an Independent Financial Adviser and Bryony works as a Jewellery and Accessory Designer at Icon Live, supplier to M&S, John Lewis and a number of big supermarket chains. Both have a strong passion for music, Jamie enjoys playing football and badminton and Bryony has a real talent for illustration. They also have a cat, named Pushkin. Pushkin is great.

They are both looking forward to getting more involved with life at ACC, being utilised in whichever way God calls them to be.
