Becca’s Reflection on 2014

I am so thankful for our church family – for the fun times, the quiet times, the times we laugh and the times we cry. I love doing life with you all.

I love our times of worship and all the activity there is from Prophetic Teams to Set-up Teams, from Alpha to Overseas Teams, from Mini Kickstart to Frontline. I thank God for it all.

Some of my great memories have been… prayer walking at the beginning of the year at Highdown, Sisbury and Chanctonbury, where we got very muddy climbing up the steep slopes then praying with all our hearts for our area.

Life Begins was so good at the start of the year, to hear other peoples’ experiences and reflections.

Easter was a special time with our Lent prayer calendar and Passover meal, our prayer time on Good Friday and our celebration together on Easter Sunday.

I loved Cafe Church, especially the Christmas get-together and the open mic session… so much gifting and talent.

We ran our first Marriage Course and had such amazing times worshipping at Beach Hut.

Big Church Day Out was incredible to serve at, with so many people finding God for the first time and joining with so many different people singing our praise to God.

Kickstart the Event was incredible – to see 400 children and toddlers in our community impacted was such a privilege. To see our children and young people grow has been brilliant. Soul Survivor is always such a key time for our young people.

It was great to walk through the streets of Littlehampton on bonfire night bringing hope and light. The Gift Art trail brought us together as churches in the area.

We have had many new people on the Alpha and then the Nurture Course, many finding Jesus for the first time.

Christmas has been a beautiful time, the craft fayre full of creativity, sharing fun, food and laughter at our Christmas Party was a real highlight as was a superb Christmas Special.

Thank you for all you have given whether that be in Life Pods, pouring tea or listening to someone… thank you… God bless you this year.

Love,

Becca
