Eastertide Meetings – Littlehampton Churches Together has arranged a series of evening meetings on the Sundays between Easter and Pentecost. This is for the different churches to learn about each other and experience our diverse styles of worship. This Sunday’s is hosted by the Quakers at The Meeting House, Church Street, and starts at 6.30pm.
Worthing Tabernacle presents ‘An Evening with Henry Olonga’, international test cricketer, author and singer-song writer, on Friday 6th June at 7.30pm.
The next Momentum men’s event is a bonfire on Friday 6th June. The venue is the Scout Camp, Furzefields, Dappers Lane, Angmering. Arrive from 6.30pm onwards. You’ll need something to sit on, something to cook on an open fire and something to drink. Entrance is 50p and there’s no need to book. There is limited parking available at the site entrance. Canon Andrew White, ‘Vicar of Baghdad’ will be coming to speak at Ashington Church on Sunday 8th June at 6pm. The Reverend Canon Dr Andrew White, vicar of St. George’s Anglican Church in Baghdad, leads the only Anglican church in Iraq. He is also the president of the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East. All are welcome. Please park in Ashington Community Centre Car Park. It will be a great evening.
