People News

Many of you responded to Paul Sanderson’s appeal for furniture etc. for a dad and his son. He has had this email from TLA: ‘I want to say a thousand thank yous for all you have done in such a short space of time – you have been amazing.  I know that a lot of people have made contributions either with furniture, crockery, bedding or money.  I wish I could say a personal thank you to each and every one of them, however, I guess that won’t be directly possible.  Therefore, please, please could you pass on my sincerest thanks to everyone in whatever way you see fit.’

The following people celebrate birthdays this week: Annabelle Winton, Laurie Mellor, Andy Harsant, Gareth Nunes, Rosie Jupp, Heather Thatcher, Chris Lush and Graham Rees. Happy birthday everyone!

Rob Newey is playing at The Dolphin, Littlehampton from 1- 3pm on Sunday 15th September and would love to see a good crowd there from ACC.

#ROE2RO 22nd –  28th September – Mark Yates is in a team of people driving a car from Roehampton SW15 to Cristuru in Romania (Roe-2-Ro) on behalf of Regenerate which will take 3 days.  They’ll leave the car with the project that Regenerate supports near Cristuru.  Last year a Regenerate team built a well for the village.  For 2 days they will be building a house for a family who recently lost their father and their home. They will then fly back to UK.  The project in Cristuru will use the car to drive to isolated areas to support people in their wider community.  Your donations will be used to buy the car & fuel the trip. If in excess of £1,000 is raised, the money will ‘roll over’ in the Regenerate kitty for their next mission to Romania.

Cheers for your support. To donate click here
